The Bernina 009DCC specialty machine is designed to give you the tools of making ready-to-wear garments. The two stitches it does - the coverstitch and the chain stitch - are staples in the garment industry. Add these to the 2, 3, and 4 thread capabilities of your regular BERNINA serger, and you're ready to serge any fabric for all types of projects.

The BERNINA 0009DCC is also great for sewing home dec and craft projects as well as for embellishing with decorative threads. And the best part is - there's no need to convert from regular serging to chain or cover stitching. The 009DCC is always ready to complement your BERNINA sewing machine and serger.

In just one pass, you can cut, sew and finish edges on everything from fine silks and satin to denim, fleece and stretchy fabrics with the greatest of ease. And, although the Bernina 800DL is an entry level machine, you can sew like a pro with versatile features that make serging fast and simple.

Sewing with one or two needles, the machine's 2, 3 and 4 thread overlock capabilities and adjustable tension ensure exactly the finish you want. As for ease, this smooth operator simplifies threading by doing most of the work for you. A differential feed keeps seams smooth and flat. The Janome 644D is this company's most advanced MyLock serger, with speeds up to 1300 stitches per minute. It features electronic control, a handy needle threader, and an easy Upper Knife release. An instructional video ensures that you'll be serging with professional results in no time.

The 644D has 2 needles and 2, 3 or 4 thread stitching capabilities. Equipped with differential feed, which is adjustable from .05 to 2.25, the 644D provides increased control for handling all types of fabrics and is essential for creative serger techniques. And, you can adjust the cutting width of the knives up to 7.3mm, wider than any other MyLock serger.

Threading is simplified by color-coded thread guides and a self-threading lower looper. Simply lay the thread into the guide, flip a switch, and the lower looper is threaded. The guide is automatically returned to its normal position when you turn the balance wheel. And when you lift the presser foot for rethreading, the thread tensions are automatically released so you can draw the thread smoothly.

Because a lower looper pre-tension control eliminates the need to change tension for rolled hems, you can switch quickly to rolled hemming without changing the needle plate.

The easy-to-use Bernina 700DL machine has the ability to serge using a 2-thread, 3-thread or 4-thread stitch. The Janome MyLock 204D gives you a wide range of serging features in a compact machine. Its sturdy design and precise Janome stitch mechanism ensures beautiful 3/4 thread operation. And the fact that it doesn't take up much space makes it an easy fit for your sewing room.

The 204D has a built-in rolled hem feature (no plate change) for a professional finish. The cutting width is adjustable from 2.0 to 5.7 mm. The differential feed prevents puckering and stretching, and can be used for fun special effects. And the upper knife can be deactivated for decorative sewing.
