Needle Saver

Cut two 5" by 5" squares of fabric and one of batting. (For a nice look use a wavy rotary cutter blade.) Using a contrasting thread and the stitch (or stitches) of your choice bisect the square diagonally, vertically and horizontally. Take a thin-line permanent marker and write in the types of needles you use most. Now when you have used a needle for under 6-8 hours and want to save it for the next project --just pin it on your saver in the appropriate section.
