Hans' Customer Lillian Olsen  grew up on Highway 16 near  Rio Wisconsin in this house.

Inspired by the newspaper article she had the picture copied and blown up to develop the pattern for the beautiful quilt replica you see here (picture #3). 

We love the texture on the house and the snow on the roof! (Click on the 4th picture to see a close up.) Lillian has gone on to make six home quilts altogether -one for each of her siblings.
