Lillian Olsen made her "Bog Coat" quickly from a soft piece
of cloth with a hand woven look.
The elegant edging on her sleeves is the
selvedge! |

Lillian always makes a hat to go with her outfit and
this
time she used a great trick. She put elastic around a circle of her jacket
fabric which then fits nicely over the crown of her black felt bowler (Picture
1). Take if off and she has a tam! (Picture

Once she put this quilt together,
Lillian saw these as dogs in a window, so at the top she labeled it
"Doggie Condo," and at the bottom: "How Much is That Doggie
In the Window?" |

A cute n' cuddly bear quilt! The
border stitching (shown below) was done with one of her two New Home (Janome) sewing
machines.

Lillian sews on a New Home (Janome) 7000 and a Janome
5000. When her 5000 is embroidering, she's still working away on her
other machine!
