This charming lap-size quilt was designed by Debbie Mumm and would make a perfect gift for a special friend of any age or could be a quickly sewn addition to your own collection.  The simple four-patch and star blocks combined with the quick, fusible-applique heart blocks make it easy to complete this project in short order.  Size:  42 ½ x 56”.

C Easy Attic Windows  Wednesdays, Feb. 5th & 12th, 6:00-9:00 p.m. with Diane Bass; 2-part.  Cost: $50 (book provided).  If you are new to quilting, this class will help you open a new window on creativity.  Or, if you are an experienced quilter, have fun meeting new friends and making a fun and easy quilt top you can complete in 2 sessions.  This quilt looks much more difficult than it really is due to updated techniques.  In this hands-on class, we’ll cover the basics of what kind of thread and tools to use, how to prepare and rotary cut your fabric and machine piece this 38 ½ inch square quilt.  It’s great for a baby quilt, lap quilt or wall hanging.

If you are thinking about purchasing embroidery software (regardless of the brand of embroidery machine you own), see how easy and fun it is to make your own designs or customize others, including fantastic cross-stitch creations.

C Very Beginning Sewing   Mondays, Feb. 10th & 17th, 6:00-8:30 pm with Sandy Wright; 2-part. Cost: $25. This class is for people who have never sewn. We’ll start with basic machine operation (“What are all those knobs and dials for, anyway?”), move on to simple machine sewing, and then finish with a designer pillow cover to add flair to any décor.

This pillowcase is quick and easy to make and is great for all ages, but especially brightens up the room for little ones, college students lonesome for home, and nursing home residents.  And, don’t forget one for yourself.  Approximate size is a generous 21" x 29".  Use 100% cotton fabric.  Flannel also makes a real warm and cozy case.

Sorry, Class Complete or Full New! C Teeny Tiny Table Topper   Tuesday, Mar. 18th, 1:00-5:00 pm with Joellyn Quinn; Cost: $20. Don’t be afraid of tiny pieced projects.  This simple quilt is made up of ¾” finished squares, but is sewn first in strips and then sub-cut to make the smaller pieces easier to work with.  Sample is done with a black background, but any color scheme makes a charming table topper or wall hanging.  The best part is the number of fabrics required—only three, which is great for those of us who have trouble putting together color series. Size: 14" x 14".

Pre-registration is required for all classes. Pre-payment is required for all classes except free ones. You must register at least 7 days before the class is scheduled to start. Payment options provided when registering. To pre-register:

Hands-on classes require a sewing machine in good working order. You will be asked when registering whether you’re bringing your own machine or whether you’d like us to provide one for you (at no additional cost). 

Your instructor will provide you with a supply list or other pertinent information for all applicable classes. When you register, you will be asked whether you want this information mailed or emailed, and this list will be provided at least one week prior to class.

We reserve the right to cancel classes that don’t meet minimum attendance requirements. When we cancel classes, you will be notified one week before class is scheduled to start and all fees that you’ve paid will be refunded in full.

If you decide to cancel class(es) you’ve signed up for, your money will be refunded in full as long as you cancel at least one full week prior to the cancelled class. No refunds will be given any classes cancelled less than 7 days before the class is scheduled to start, but we will provide a store credit in the form of a gift certificate —sorry, no exceptions.
